About IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of V. V. Giri University, Siwan, Bihar, is a dedicated institutional mechanism for fostering a culture of quality, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across all academic and administrative activities of the University. Established in accordance with the quality-assurance framework promoted by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the IQAC serves as a catalyst for institutional excellence and sustainable development.
As a newly established University, V. V. Giri University places special emphasis on building robust systems, transparent processes, academic integrity, learner-centric education, research excellence, and effective governance from the very beginning. The IQAC will facilitate the systematic planning, implementation, monitoring, documentation, and evaluation of quality-enhancement initiatives across the University.
The IQAC will work in close coordination with academic departments, administrative units, statutory and non-statutory bodies, faculty members, students, alumni, and other stakeholders to ensure that quality becomes an integral part of the University's institutional culture. It will also promote the adoption of best practices, innovation, technology-enabled education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and benchmarking with leading institutions at the national and international levels.
Objectives of IQAC
The major objectives of the IQAC are to:
Develop and institutionalize a systematic framework for continuous quality improvement in teaching, learning, research, extension, administration, and student support services.
Plan, monitor, evaluate, and document quality-enhancement initiatives and assess their effectiveness through appropriate indicators and measurable outcomes.
Promote learner-centric, innovative, and outcome-based teaching-learning practices, including the effective integration of ICT, digital resources, blended learning, and emerging technologies.
Strengthen academic and administrative processes through transparency, efficiency, accountability, and evidence-based decision-making.
Collect, analyze, and utilize feedback from students, teachers, alumni, employers, and other stakeholders for continuous improvement.
Organize faculty and staff development programmes, including orientation, training, capacity-building, and professional development activities.
Promote a culture of research, innovation, consultancy, entrepreneurship, and interdisciplinary collaboration across the University.
Facilitate quality documentation and data management for institutional planning, assessment, accreditation, ranking, and other regulatory and statutory requirements.
Identify, adopt, and disseminate best practices in academic, research, administrative, and student-support activities.
Encourage collaboration and networking with reputed universities, research institutions, industries, professional bodies, and national and international organizations.
Support the University's preparedness for accreditation and quality assessments, particularly through systematic processes, evidence-based documentation, and continuous institutional improvement.
Promote inclusiveness, sustainability, ethics, academic integrity, and social responsibility as integral components of institutional quality.
